Feral’s Rewilding

August 4, 2025

A year ago, we took back control.

After more than two decades of pushing boundaries, and getting a little too weird, we took a detour from our wild roots. But now, we’re back where we belong.

We’re out. We’re independent. And we’re not wasting the opportunity to make the beers Feral is best known for.

Rewilded and Rebranded

This week, we’re rolling out the biggest change to the Feral brand in our history. You’ll start to see new-look cans on shelves, strange departments popping up online, and maybe even a familiar hog looking back at you wilder than ever.

This isn’t a nostalgia trip. It’s a reintroduction. A rewilding.

We’re drawing on the energy that made Feral what it was in the first place; the attitude, the experimentation, the chaos. This time we’re building something even more flexible, more fun, and more reflective of where we’re at right now.

We’ve created a whole new world inside Feral: departments like the Department of Heavy Brewing, the Department of Experimental Brewing, and the Department of Propaganda — all fictional (but also very real), and all dedicated to creating bigger, bolder, stranger beers.

The whole system is designed to evolve with us. Like a creature adapting to a changed environment, Feral is mutating to survive — and to thrive.

New Look, Same Intent

The rebrand brings back the Feral hog from 2002, redesigned for each beer to reflect its style and strength. You’ll see the core range change over the coming months, with labels that lean into B-grade monster movies, schlock horror, and a good dose of mutant science.

We worked with a new WA creative agency (with some very familiar faces) to bring the whole thing to life. They helped us strike the right balance between old-school Feral and the modern madness we wanted.

What’s Next?

New packaging is just the beginning. New beers, new experiments, new ideas — it’s all part of a bigger shift.

This isn’t about pretending nothing happened. It’s about owning our past and turning it into fuel for what’s next.

We know the change might rattle a few cages. But that’s kind of the point. Feral isn’t here to play it safe — never has been, never will.

Welcome to the new era of Feral.

Return to wild.
