Once a year, the people gather to praise the mighty tusk. Is it a god? Or some otherworldly ancestor? It’s said the missing Tusk fragment is buried deep in Feral’s labs, powering Feral’s unnatural experiments. Whether truth or myth, Tusk is cult — and on this sacred day the people shall imbibe.
For those not familiar, TUSK is a triple IPA that we put into kegs the morning of TUSK Day. This mythical beer is hand-delivered to venues, making it the freshest beer you will ever get your hands on.
Tusk pours a deep golden hue with a dense head. High clarity. Explosive hop character leads with dank pine, resin, and ripe stone fruit. Underneath, light caramel and biscuit peeks through. Intense hop bitterness upfront transitions into juicy citrus and pine resin. Mid-palate shows some malt complexity – light toffee, cracker, and a touch of toast. The finish is dry and crisp with moderately high bitterness. An expressive West Coast style Imperial IPA. Intensely hoppy but balanced by subtle malt structure.
Take the afternoon off, gather your people, and worship with caution.
